Voice instead of passwords
The new speech recognition system „Voice Vault“, produced by the British company Biometric Security, enables a secure authentification of the customer via his voice. The product will be launched this year. With the help of a few speech examples the software generates a profile, a so called “speech finger print”. Experts think that this biometric method will prevail very fast, especially in e-commerce. Advantages are the simple usage and the saving of additional devices.
