Information Technology depicted
2006 is the Informatics year in Germany. In this context the Informatics Society organized a whole week of various presentations, discussions, demonstrations and workshops in Dresden.
The ongoing event which offers a program for everyone started October the 2nd and continues until 10th of October 2006.
So far, highlights have been the annual conference of the Informatics Society, the Night of Discovery and the Informatics Day at the Semper Opera. Interested visitors got impressions of the influence of modern computer technologies and software on all fields from art to medicine.
Lots of IT-companies like Infineon, IBM, Microsoft, Accenture, Saxonia Systems and T-Systems Multimedia Solutions used the chance and took part in the “Week of Informatics” by holding presentations about the newest developments in their line of business, a tour through the office and a job fair.
