Martina Girkens
After studying computer science and economics, Martina Girkens worked for various IT manufacturers focusing on projects, services, consulting and outsourcing. From 1995 to 2007 she was employed by Siemens at several locations including Munich, Singapore and Regensburg, and so switched to the client side. Martina Girkens is active in personnel development, change management and business process management. Since 2008 she has been Head of Corporate Functions IT at Continental AG, responsible for company-wide IT applications. In late 2010 she additionally took on management of the ConNext project to facilitate the new network culture through appropriate IT, HR processes, communication and information structures.
At the 5th Dresden Future Forum Martina Girkens will be leading a session on “Using network culture as a new organisational model”.
