Web 2.0-Applications gain importance in the future

deutschland_online_logoOne result of the latest study about the present trends for the broadband market in Germany and the World is of special interest for marketing and communication of enterprises.
The survey “Deutschland Online 4″ of T-Online shows that the importance of Social-Web-Offers will increase the following years. A high percentage of participating experts are convinced that “the Internet will develop into a medium which is characterized to a high degree by user interaction”. As per T-Online-survey user generated content will become the customer’s main source for information about products and services. “Blogs, wikis, user rated review communities and mash-ups will also become increasingly important as part of Social Web” according to the summary of “Deutschland Online 4”. As a consequence, the experts see the exigence for companies to change their strategies about products and communication since the Social Web is going to be very important to reach their customers. Does that also mean that companies are going to loose ground on their image? Is it, on the contrary, going to be easier to create and offer products with guaranteed consumer-satisfaction as companies are able to involve users active? On the official “Deutschland Online 4”-Website, where details of survey can be found, the answer to both questions is “yes”.
